Tortugal is a peaceful place located in Rio Dulce, right in between Castillo San Felipe and the Bridge. More than a River Lodge you will find a Restaurant and Marina and for sure you will find a place to relax, enjoy nature, go for a swim and find the retreat you have been searching for right in front of the river.

Tortugal also offer more than just accommodation, our staff will assist you to sort your travel plans whether you are going to Tikal, Guatemala City or Semuc Champey, also you will find a lot to do around Rio Dulce, whether you go on a boat tour to the Caribbean Side and visit Livingston, go to enjoy the Hot Springs at Finca Paraiso or take a walk to Castillo San Felipe… which you can also visit by Kayak which we allow our guests to use free of cost.

Our river lodge is located at an area of the river on which you can just jump in the river and go for a swim, the water temperature but we also count with a floating platform to which you can swim to and enjoy the sun.
